YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy

How Booklyt handles information when you browse, buy and use our digital products.

Who is responsible

Booklyt operates booklyt.dev and is responsible for the customer information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email admin@booklyt.dev.

What we collect

  • Purchase and account details: your email address, name or billing details you provide at checkout, order items, prices, payment status and identifiers from our payment provider.
  • Planner information: the entries you choose to save in a purchased browser app, such as budgets, plans, tasks or gift lists.
  • Support messages: what you send us when you ask for help, a refund or a privacy request.
  • Technical information: information needed to operate and secure the site, such as session cookies, browser and request details, and service logs.

Why we use it

We use purchase and account information to take payment, deliver products, show your orders and provide passwordless access. We use planner information to save and restore your work. We use support messages to answer requests and resolve problems. We use technical information to keep services functioning and secure. These uses are generally necessary to provide a requested product or to pursue our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service; some records are also kept to meet legal obligations.

Who helps us provide the service

We use Stripe to process payments, Resend to send transactional emails, and Cloudflare to host the website, apps and stored product data. If you accept optional advertising tracking, the Pinterest tag measures visits, checkout starts and purchases to help us understand our advertising. If Pinterest's automatic enhanced match setting is enabled, the tag may also hash and share details entered in forms, such as email, after you accept optional tracking. These providers receive information needed for their roles. We do not sell your personal information. Provider processing may involve countries outside your own; their terms and safeguards apply to those transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for the period needed for customer support, accounting and legal requirements. We keep saved planner data while you use the product or until you ask us to delete it, subject to records we must retain. Passwordless access links can be reused for 30 days after they are sent; a library session can remain active for up to 30 days. Support messages are kept as long as needed to resolve the matter and maintain relevant records.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about you, or ask us to restrict or object to certain uses. You may also ask for a copy of information you provided, where applicable. Email admin@booklyt.dev and we will review your request. If you are in the UK and remain concerned, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and browser storage

We use essential cookies for checkout and library access. Some browser apps also use local storage to keep or recover planner entries. Optional Pinterest advertising tracking runs only after you accept it. See our cookie and browser storage page for details and how to change your choice.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when our products or data practices change. For questions, privacy requests or a copy of information about a particular order, email admin@booklyt.dev.
